I was born and brought up in New England and tell people, "I was born a Southern girl, it just took me a while to get here." My husband, of over 30 years, and I moved to the Southport/Oak Island area in 2002. My sister had lived here for 12 years and opened our eyes to what it was like to live in "paradise". We have two married daughters and son-in-laws who we are proud to call "son". Our oldest daughter, Heather, and her husband still live in New Hampshire. Our youngest daughter, Darcy, and her husband live and work here in the Oak Island area.

I have been fortunate to have experienced many different avenues in my career path. I have been involved in technology for a good part of my adult life. I also spent 15 years in the corporate travel industry. When moving to North Carolina, these two paths crossed when I worked for a technology company who was contracted by the North Carolina Division of Tourism. This job involved a lot of travel and wishing to spend more time in "paradise", I acquired my real estate broker’s license and dove into property management and real estate sales.

I have spent a great deal of time acquiring the knowledge necessary to help young couples purchase their first home. The gratification and joy gained from helping the "first time home buyer" is sensational.

I have been in a customer service oriented business since I was 14 years old. I learned all of my customer service skills from my father. I truly believe that a high level of customer service is the backbone of any great business.
